As a migrant to Australia, Dr Li’s political views are shaped by his experiences as a migrant and as an educator. He stands as an Independent as he believes this is the best way he can help the community and the Nation.

Dr Li’s commitment to education services is for all, social inclusion and equality which leads to Harmony in the community and the whole of Australia. His work with 52 community language schools in the ACT region attests to one who is pushing for recognition by the ACT Government of community language schools as educational as well as multicultural institutions. He is a strong supporter of social inclusion and a stronger, fairer and stronger ACT and Australia.

Based on Dr Li’s vast experience in Australia and his long-time work with multicultural communities especially in the field of multicultural areas and community languages his campaign policies are formed. He stands for election to give the community a fairer and stronger voice in Federal Parliament:
* by advocating social unity and harmony in society
* by opposing racial discrimination in all its forms; and promoting multiculturalism;
* by building on education policy through greater recognition of community languages;
* by vigorously supporting women and vulnerable groups;
* by promoting and supporting business and business development projects;
* by broadening support for policies aimed at lowering carbon emissions to effectively reduce climate change;
* by advocating greater national security in accord with existing foreign and trade relations and Australia’s national interest;
* by commending the acceptance of more immigrants and international students; and
* by promoting and supporting effective humanitarian aid for Ukraine refugees.
